RoamHub (roamhub.io) is operated by RoamHub, based in Spain. You can reach us at hello@roamhub.io.
RoamHub provides free informational tools for digital nomads, remote workers, and international professionals. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we handle data.
Data We Collect
Analytics (Google Analytics)
If you consent to analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to collect anonymized usage data, including pages visited, time on site, approximate geographic region, device type, and referral source. Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish unique users. We do not enable Google Signals or any advertising features. IP anonymization is enabled by default.
Affiliate Link Tracking
When you click an affiliate link on RoamHub, the destination site (our affiliate partner) may set its own cookies to attribute the referral. RoamHub itself does not set tracking cookies for affiliate purposes. Please review the privacy policies of our affiliate partners for details on their data practices.
localStorage
We use your browser's localStorage to store your cookie consent preference
(a single string value: "accepted" or "declined") under the key
rh_cookie_consent.
This is not personal data and is never transmitted to any server. Some tools
may also use localStorage to save your preferences locally on your device.
What We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, payment information, or any other personally identifiable information. All tools run entirely in your browser. No personal data is sent to our servers.
Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR Article 6)
We process data under the following legal bases as defined by GDPR Article 6(1):
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): Analytics cookies are only loaded after you explicitly consent via our cookie banner. You may withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage and revisiting the site.
- Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)): We use localStorage to remember your consent preference, which is necessary for the functioning of the consent mechanism itself.
Your Rights Under GDPR

Data Retention
Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted. localStorage data persists in your browser until you manually clear it or clear your browser data.
